For coaches

Request funding

Every Booster dollar starts with a coach asking. One form, a quote, and a vote at the next first-Monday meeting.

The full process, the fillable form, the rules and the close-out template live on the Coaches page. It is for Hamilton coaches and staff, so it sits behind an access code rather than in the public menu.

Coaches: the code is in the Boosters’ email to the coaching staff. Lost it, or never got it? Email us and we will send it back the same day.

Deadline

One week before the meeting to make that month’s agenda.

Meetings

First Monday of every month except July, 7:00 p.m.

Before you submit

Talk to the Athletic Director, and get varsity head coach approval for sub-varsity requests.

What you can
get here

The forms people actually ask us for. Everything else, just email — a person answers.

Board records. Bylaws, minutes and financial policy are the board’s working records and are not posted here. If you want to see something, ask the Secretary at hcsathleticboosters@hamiltonschools.us — our annual return is public and posted on ProPublica.

For seniors

Booster
scholarships

The Boosters award 4 senior scholarships a year. Four per year in a normal cycle — two female, two male — at $1,000 and $500 per gender. Amounts are set each year based on fundraising profit.

To be eligible you need a 2.5 GPA or better, acceptance to an accredited college, university, trade school, or certification program, and participation in at least one varsity sport.

Scoring. Sports participation earns 5 points per year, with bonuses for breadth. Coach feedback on sportsmanship, attitude, and character is worth up to 4. School and community involvement is worth up to 4, and counts booster or rec involvement by the student or a parent. The essay is scored 1 to 3. Ties break on extra involvement plus input from the Athletic Director, with the Executive Board making the final call.

Submit to the high school office or by email to the Boosters.
